VCS 2000

VCS 2000

The VCS 2000 is a pork carcass grading and classification system.

It has two camera stations with the first station imaging the ham profile and the second station using two cameras for imaging the bone side of the whole split carcass side. Both images will be evaluated and different measurements are extracted and calculated such as Lean Meat Percent of the pork, back fat thickness on different positions of the back and the weight of the main primal of the pork. This system is approved and used in Europe and Korea.
